A Trip to Shangri-La
Saturday, June 24, 2017

Unlike the 1933 movie, "Lost Horizon," these 25 tour members made up of Class of '69 classmates from Kalani, McKinley, Roosevelt, and family, did not travel to the fictitious utopian paradise in search of immortality.  They went on this trek to learn more about history and arts.  Never too late.

Ready to leave at the Honolulu Museum of Art
Our shuttle bus to the Doris Duke estate's Shangri-La
One of our two tour groups
More joint excursions like this will be popping up.  Watch for them and join the group!

McKinley Five-0

Yes, the 50th class reunion is coming up in 2019.
We've had many get class get togethers since 1969 and are looking forward to our special 50th year celebration.

Some of our classmates have been to all of them, some to only a few, and some never had the opportunity of joining us.
The reunion committee is looking for ideas and suggestions on what you would like see for our grand celebration in 2019.  Be it a MHS-only event or a joint one with our classmates from other schools, or even a combination of both, we welcome your feedback.
